MODI GmbH has been a specialist for identification solutions and process optimization for more than 20 years. Modi‘s vision systems are mainly used in the production area for the electronics and pharmaceutical industries. Since 2005, the heart of all systems has been the patented ADOMO © technology. With this technology, the camera field of view is deflected over a 2-axis moving mirror within a few milliseconds. In this way even finding and evaluating very small features on large areas is possible.

Started in 1994 with microscopes that are still part of their ongoing portfolio. In 2000, they released the first X-ray Inspection System to the market. Now, they offer both offline and inline systems for X-ray Inspection. Fifteen years later, they introduced the first X-ray Component Counter, and they are now on the 3rd generation, which also includes semi-automatic and fully-automatic versions. In 2020, with the knowledge accumulated from the microscopes and X-ray Component Counters, they developed the Incoming Material Station. In 2022, to complete their Material Management, they developed and released the Smart Rack, a pick-to-light system with one sensor on each position.

Smart Rack for Stencils

• The Scienscope Smart Stencil Rack has been engineered to enhance the efficiency of storing and retrieving solder stencils.

• With a retrieval or storage time of a few seconds per stencil, this innovative system minimizes operator’s time locating the appropriate position for their stencil. Instead, they can insert the stencil into any available slot with a built-in sensor.

• To further expedite the retrieval process, the precise location of the desired stencil is illuminated, enabling the operator to locate and verify the correct stencil without extensive searching swiftly.

•Moreover, the Smart Stencil Rack has been designed to accommodate stencil sizes from 23”x 23” up to 29” x 29”, with spacing to accommodate stencils with widths of 5mm,20mm, and 40mm.
